New Community Center
Construction Begins
Tanami Regional Council is excited to announce the commencement of construction on the new
East Side Community Center. This $8.5 million project will provide state-of-the-art
facilities for our growing community.
The new center will feature:
Multi-purpose hall with capacity for 300 people
Meeting rooms and community spaces
Commercial-grade kitchen facilities
Youth activity areas and technology hub
Outdoor recreation spaces and gardens
The project is expected to be completed by December 2026. We thank the community for their
patience during construction.
